Blizzard hires a new Chief Creative Officer. Pelle Sjoenell will be leaving BBH Worldwide’s New York Office. The StarCraft WCS Global Finals – Opening Week Unveiled. And it appears that WCS will be headed back to where it all started: Seoul, South Korea. From October 24-27, sixteen of the best StarCraft II players in the world will compete for glory, honor, and their chance at taking home a chuck of the $500,000.00 USD prize pool. The Overwatch League Grand Finals have come to an end, and the San Francisco Shock have won it all! But the shock didn’t just beat the Titans, they straight up spanked them with a 4-0 victory. In the league’s second year, the Shock took home a $1.1 million purse, while the runner-up Vancouver Titans settled for $600,000. Here is more about the Championship!
With BlizzCon right around the corner, a lot of people are asking “What’s coming next for Hearthstone?” Well, Blizzard decided to tell us more about some minor changes that they have lined up for Hearthstone. They will be adding more events, pulling popular wild cards to move back to standard, 1,000 Win Class Portraits, and Quality of Life Improvements like Alternate Search Terms, and Quest Changes. Overwatch’s Jeff Kaplan reveals NHL tradition he wants in OWL. It won’t be happening this year, but he would like to see names engraved onto the OWL trophy in the future similar to that of the Stanley Cup. Find out more about it here.

So, I'm not going to give anything away, but god damn Blizzcon is going to be hype. The WoW team in general is doing amazing stuff, but I'm extra proud of the work my team has been doing lately. I think players are going to love it.
