Each and every week we scour news articles and Blue posts looking for this week’s Top 5 list! This week our Top 5 List comes from the <Insert Game Here> universe. We discovered a lot of salt pertaining to changes coming to classes in Battle for Azeroth.
Top 5 Saltiest Class change complaints for BFA
5.) bring back the talent trees from vanilla!!!
4.) when your classes only job ever is to do dps you should be the best at it. I could rant more but choose not to.
3.) Remove the “stand still to cast” requirement = fun/fast paced gameplay. Its were games like GW2 shine and wow could use a bit of that mojo imo, both pve and pvp wise.
2.) gimme back my tree
1.) *To hear #1, listen to this week’s episode!*
Things are starting to look up for the esports world as of late. We have the Overwatch League making waves, and now the long time running StarCraft tournament is making an appearance before the 2018 Winter Olympics. It was announced that Intel will be sponsoring a tournament that will be showcasing players from over 18 different countries competing for the championship. Players will be from Ukraine, Mexico, France, India, Colombia, the US, Australia, Poland, Brazil, Tunisia, Finland, China and Taiwan.
During this past weeks HGC showcase, the Heroes of the Storm team announced the next hero that will be joining the lineup of stealthy assassins inside the Nexus! Maiev Shadowsong will be attempting to cage more than just Illidan as she brings her unique toolkit to the battlefield. Check out her spotlight video here!
We talked about it a few weeks back, but this week it was announced that there will be some changes being made to the Hearthstone ranking system. Basically the system is being reset, and the monthly quest for the card back is being changed! The new quest will be win 5 ranked play games within the current month to gain the card back. Will these changes entice more people to log in to the game on a daily basis?
This week it was announced that Blizzard is actually using YouTube, Twitch, and social media to track down toxic members within the community. The game off an announcement from Papa Jeff in it’s latest Developer Update. To find out more about these changes, check out this article.
Each week we pick a game from the endless library of the Blizzard Arcade to test them out and help the listeners find some awesome stupidly fun games.
Game: TvZ Nexus Destroyers v0.1 Type: Arena Creator: Hecsagon Kilroy’s Review: “This game falls in line with a ton of those standard tug of war style builds except with one key difference, there is actual unit control rather than a mindless lane push that requires no formation or strategy. So this actually stands out above other typical tug of war maps in that there is actually some effort needed on the players part after they have selected their minions to spawn for the waves. The end goal of course for this game is to take out your opponents nexus and win the match. In this 4v4 showdown you must cooperate with your team to create an effective push and outplay your opponent, a worthwhile game to play with friends however you can’t solo play this game as there is no AI. Overall the Nerdz did not hate on this game too much but it did fall short on AI.”
