Then we jump into our Blizzard Entertainment discussion where we talk about the BlizzCon community night hosts revealed, a Korean University has a StarCraft AI vs human tournament coming, Hearthstone teases the virtual ticket golden legendary, Heroes of the Storm making changes to the 2018 HGC, Papa Jeff talks about evolving Overwatch esports, Overwatch League team names and logos revealed, and then we move onto our World of Warcraft discussion. This week we talk about the lucid nightmare riddle, and what our hopes are for the next World of Warcraft expansion.
But no episode would be complete without us talking about another Blizzard Arcade game and this week we talk about one called Reinforcements Delay 5! And then before you know it, it’s time for us to say our weekly goodbyes.

With the 2017 HGC finishes at BlizzCon, talks about the improvement coming to Heroes of the Storm esports are already upon us. Blizzard is looking into making improvements to the viewing experience, changes to the league structure, and more stringent rules on team ownership. But the question we have is… is it a little late for these requirements and changes? Want to hear our discussion… check out the show!
Once again, it appears that the Hearthstone team couldn’t hold onto the information any longer so they just had to let us know that the Golden Legendary card that all BlizzCon attendees and virtual ticket holders will receive is Marin the Fox! He just so happens to be a pirate!!! This just plays more into the fact that we will probably be seeing a Booty Bay or Pirate expansion announced at BlizzCon this week!
This week with the Overwatch World Cup finals on the Horizon, it was announced that there will be some major changes being made to how Overwatch esports works. Teams will have colored jerseys that represent the teams in the game (i.e Red team = red on the screen) and there will be improvements made to the map system. All of these changes will help advance Overwatch into the esport event it should have always been!
Also this past week (and even this week) more teams names have been revealed along with their logs and team colors. Here are some of the ones we know about already: Boston Uprising, Dallas Fuel, Los Angeles Valiant, San Francisco Shock, Seoul Dynasty, Shanghai Dragons. Each week we pick a game from the endless library of the Blizzard Arcade to test them out and help the listeners find some awesome stupidly fun games.
Game: Reinforcements Delay 5 Type: Survival Creator: DeathBringer Kilroys Review: “This is an interesting survival game, it is a continuation of a series of these games and is very well put together. You first load in as an evil person who has to taint several Terran towns and then use the converted minions you acquire during setup phase to assault a Terran outpost that is set and bent on destroying you. Operate as efficiently as you can and prepare for multiple waves of Terrans while you protect your leader to amass strength and take out the outpost. Very well put together game with cutscenes and story, very worthwhile.”
