Special Announcement: This week on the show we replaced our Top 5 list to add something to the show that means way more important than anything else talked about on the show. This past week the Blizzard Community lost a very special member. For those that are familiar with our Media Network, D20Crit Alliance, one of the founding members of it has unexpectantly passed away. Tristan Derringher was more than just a podcaster, she was also a friend of the show. The community has created a GoFundMe account for her husband Wil, and two children she has left behind. Tristan will be greatly missed, as a friend, podcaster, and beyond. She has touched so many lives in our community and in the real world.
Some times in video games there are different bugs that either break the game, or make the game completely hilarious! This past week it was floating around the Heroes of the Storm forums about a bug that involves Rexxar’s pet Misha. The way this bug works is that with the addition of minion collision being added to the game, it’s making it so that Misha is not able to move around as freely as before and gets trapped in by the minions. But it’s just better if you see it for yourself! Check it out here.
This past week we all got invited to a new party inside of Hearthstone, and we hope you accepted your invitation and actually attended the party in Karazhan! From disco music to hilarious commentary, and beyond, the first wing of the latest Hearthstone adventure is now available! Find out more all about it here!
Another week, another Overwatch Hero conspiracy theory. This time, it’s revealed inside ASCII code where players found a skull, and an encrypted message. But what does this all mean?! Could it be a possible new hero reveal of Sombra coming with a Dia de los Muerto or the Day of the Dead. But once again, don’t take our word for it, check it out for yourself!
We’ve talked about Net Code before on the show, and this week is no different, besides that Blizzard has provided us more information about the upcoming changes being made to the tick rate that your computer communicates with the Blizzard servers. This was previously available for custom matches only but has now made its way into quick match and competitive mode. Read more about these changes here.
Within the Blizzard Entertainment Universe, cheaters never win. And Blizzard has made it known that they will not allow or support cheating inside Overwatch. This past week, a pro player was banned while on his public stream due to botting. But the community is up in arms about this, saying that Blizzard isn’t taking a true stand against pro players. but it is later answered in a blue post that this is no true. Check out the Blue Post here. And the article about the cheating here.
