We discovered a lot of salt pertaining to changes that happened to Bastion this past week in Overwatch. Check out this Reddit article for more info!

Top 5 POSITIVE Bastion Comments

5.) WHERE IS SOMBRA WHEN YOU NEED HER?!…. Here all along.
4.) As a Reinhardt, I’m still scared at the thought of seeing a bastion every game.
3.) I’m a bot, bleep, bloop.
2.) Found the Bastion main

On the fringes of the Dominion, an unsuspecting world has become the target of a rapid zerg infestation… The new Dead of Night patch is upon StarCraft and will be coming in Patch 3.11. The Dead of Night is inspired by the very popular Blizzard Arcade co-op game Left2Die that is created by Blizzard Entertainment back in 2011. There will be new infested units coming with this patch as well as a ton of other changes pertaining to the multiplayer aspects of the game. To find out more about Patch 3.11, you can check out more about that here!

Heroes of the Storm News Banner

Besides just amazing Heroes esports game play coming out of Poland as part of the the HGC Western Clash this past week, we also got a new hero announcement! The Heroes team teased it on Twitter earlier in the week, and everyone’s minds were going in a ton of different directions. But when it came time for the reveal it was pretty evident who the announcement was going to be. The sounds of the Protoss Probe could be playing in the background and then they announced that Probius, the Protoss Probe, will be the next hero warping into the Nexus! It’s unique play style will bring some much needed diversity to the Nexus. But that’s not the only think that was announced, but the return of Hero fire, as well as some UI changes will be coming shorty. Lots of great changes coming to the Nexus, and if you want to read more about them, you  can check out this article here!

The community hit the nail on the head with what would be next in Hearthstone. This past week Ben Brode sat down around a campfire to let us all know that Journey to Un’goro will be the next 135 card expansion coming to the game. Not only will we see new cards, and game board, we will also see a new affix being added to the cards. The new adapt affix will give players more control of what their cards will do letting them be able to select between different minion skills like taunt, windfury, +3 attack, and more. But will the dinosaurs and elementals be enough to take out the Pirates? Only time will tell… Check out the official announcement here!

Overwatch News Banner

Last week was a huge reveal week for Blizzard Entertainment, and finally it put some rest to the amount of theories about who would become hero 24 in Overwatch. After a late Monday tease, we didn’t have to wait long for Blizzard to finally reveal that the next Hero would be Orisa! Orisa, a creation of Efi, will be a tank hero who will help fill the role of anchor tank, and team buffer. Orisa is available on the PTR and will be releasing into the general population probably sooner than we hope. To find out more about Orisa, check out her announcement here.

After the Nerdz played a lot of Overwatch this past week with new players and friends from their World of Warcraft, the topic of the Overwatch match making system was brought up. We discuss different aspects of it, but in order to hear about it all, check out Episode 147!

On this week’s show, we quickly go over our past week in video games before we move onto another one of our Warcraft Top 5 Saltiest lists of the week and introduce another living Warcraft meme. This week we talk about the PVP community being upset about upcoming changes, then we offer up another Warcraft twitter poll, then we talk about this last weeks Legion Q&A.

Here are a few ways you can do that!

Each and every week we scour news articles and Blue posts looking for this week’s Top 5 list! This week our Top 5 List comes from the Warcraft universe. We discovered a lot of salt pertaining to something Lore said about…. Todd… If you want to find out more about Todd, check out this forum article!

Top 5 Saltiest Todd Comments:

5.) I hate Todd Before we were wiping at 1% continuously because Todd only got 34 points instead of 54 like everyone else in the raid, but now we have a much harder time carrying Todd.
4.) Screw Todd. Get him off my team and bring in someone who has the time and gear to do the work. Todd can go find himself a home in a less progressed guild of like minded and geared players. WE DON”T WANT TODD.
3.) …..who the flying fresh squeezed orange juice is Todd?
2.) I hope Todd gets /gkicked
1.) *To hear #1, listen to this week’s episode!*

This past week in StarCraft Global play, Ryung uses his insane ubermicro to secure a victory by using his marines. Using marines to win a match isn’t something new for the StarCraft scene, but it is something you rarely see happen in this high level of play. Check out this Twitch video of the action, and see for yourself!

Heroes of the Storm News Banner

It’s not every day that the community sits back and provides constructive feedback to game developers, so when a positive constructive feedback post formed on the forums this past week, it caught the attention of many members within the Heroes community. The player talk about heroes that need reworks, balances, and improvements to increase their competitiveness within the current meta and hero play. If you want to see what quality feedback looks like, or want to add to the discussion, head over to the forums to do so!

We’ve talked about Hearthstone card bloat and current state of imbalance on the show before, but now we have one Hearthstone professional player who says he’s walking away from the game for that very reason. ‘Lifecoach’ has announced this past week that he will be giving up Hearthstone due to the imbalance. In his video, he tells the audience how he will never again be talking, or playing Hearthstone because he says “I really have to assume that they are either not capable of changing that or that they are not willing to do that.” To hear it for yourself, check out his video here.

Diablo is a game created around mostly single player content and is well known for it’s never ending grind of content that drives players insane. But some players are taking it to the next level and using bots to farm their gear, and make it so that they can push rank during the current season ladder play, and like always this cheating has infuriated the community. “Play nice, play fair” is one of Blizzards mottos, but they haven’t done anything about it yet, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not on their radar. If you want to see what the community is saying, or add more about how much cheaters suck, you can add those comments to this article here!

Overwatch News Banner

There are a few contests in the Overwatch world as of late. Besides cheaters and rumors about the next hero, the Overwatch universe is full of …. awards! This past week Overwatch walked away with the most coveted DICE game award! The award was so special that Jeff Kaplan left his recording studio to actually accept the award in person at the event! The DICE awards are presented by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, so they are totally legit unlike the Frozen Nerdz Game of the Year award! If you want to check out the other winners, you can see the list of them here!

But it wouldn’t be another week without Overwatch cheater talk, and this week is no different. It was announced this past week that Blizzard and the South Korean government are working together to crack down on the cheating in their PC Bangs. Going forward players will have to use their Korean Social Security number in order to play Overwatch at the PC bangs, and will have to personally own the a copy of the game to play on other region servers. This is a huge step in the right direction! If you want learn more about this and banning, check out this article here!

But now its Overwatch rumor time! It wouldn’t be a week without the stock cost of tinfoil to go through the roof! This past week Blizzard shared an Overwatch news article about a young up and coming scientist called Efi. She specializes in robotics and onimic technology and is taking a trip shortly out of Numbani. But while she is at the airport, there is an incident and Doomfist’s glove is now missing! There is a lot of speculation going around right now, but all we can do is wait a see! You can find out more about Efi here, and what’s going on in Numbani here. But hopefully we will be finding out more about all of this shortly!

World of Warcraft News Banner

This week we discussion the following topics about World of Warcraft:

1.) The WOW PVP community is upset…. again. Details.
2.) Our Weekly PVP related Twitter Poll!
3.) We discuss this past week’s Legion Q&A! Recap here.

You can also listen to Epicinsanity give a recap of this Q&A by listening to S02E18 of the Epic Questions podcast! Details here.

Each week we pick a game from the endless library of the Blizzard Arcade to test them out and help the listeners find some awesome stupidly fun games.

Game: Scavenger Hunt
Type: Co-op commander mission
Creator: Azureguy
Details: This is a Rock the cabinet 2017 submission for creating a Co-op commander mission to test what a pair of friends can do.  Object of this mission is to protect a character named Christopher while he collects things that were lost in a crash landing of his ship, amon’s forces are working to prevent you from getting to them and its up to you to work quickly to build a base and start producing troops quickly as the game takes off at a breakneck pace.  The main guy you have to protect puts himself in danger rather quickly and it takes a ton of coordination to bring together enough forces to protect his initial push to a missing item.  The already established enemies have stronger forces than you at the start which can make this difficult.  With a team mate it makes this more feasible, however there is currently no AI in the game to allow for you to play with an AI on your team and come out ahead so you will have to do it all alone.  Overall this is a crazy mission invoking real challenges and was worth playing for both of us as we worked as a team trashing the enemies and playing like pros.

Game: Zerus Assault v1.4
Type: Strategy
Creator: TiBzZO

Details: Not every game in the Starcade is a game that is built to be different from the normal RTS sometimes they take directly from the regular starcraft RTS and add new challenges for the players.  This game involves 2 aspects, one is a constant assault on a Terran AI who is your ally, they are land locked from you and you can aid them directly so you have to indirectly stop the zerg onslaught before they happen. Seems reasonable but in addition to that you are also being assaulted by a protoss army that is far more formidable and advanced than you are from the start, so you have to be mindful of building base defenses asap otherwise you will get eradicated almost immediately and the game will be a loss.  Overall this game is very difficult and provides interesting challenges at first, but once you overcome them the skill requirement drops off fairly fast and can leave you wondering if the game is finished yet.

5.) Of course there are many of you who don’t need a queue for Mythics. Fine. That’s great. Don’t use it. It wouldn’t affect you anyways. Some of us could really, really use a Mythic queue, though.
4.) The 4-6 invasion quests one has to complete for one’s Emissary Cache or to move on to boarding the Legion ship are not enjoyable because they are all the same.
3.) Why bother with 7.2 PTR after 7.1.5 PTR?

Game: Trancespace Fortress v1.10
Type: Strategy
Creator: Galdios

Details: The primary object of this game is to build structures that will automatically run zealots up a lane that is assigned to you.  You must use your hero that you select at the beginning of the game to assist your zealots in wiping out the terran forces. Some neat aspects to this game are when you destroy a building you gain mineral increase based off of the number of buildings that you own.  Be sure to rush in to take as many buildings as you can between waves so that you can upgrade your buildings to higher levels.  Great game in concept however there is 1 major problem  there are 3 lanes to defend and if you queue solo you will be unable to defend all 3 lanes, be sure to bring a friend as the AI in this game currently only works on the Terran side.  If you want an extreme challenge you can try and solo this game but it is strongly advised you bring others.  Definitely a good game build so far and can’t wait to see improvements by the creator.

In typical Heroes of the Storm fashion, this past week the team started teasing their next Hero they are working on. Straight out of Hearthstone… or was it Warcraft… who knows? But Valeera Sanguinar is coming to the Nexus!

This past week was Q&A week at Blizzard, so we were able to get a Q&A from the Hearthstone team! Ben Brodes showed his true passions for the game as he answered a ton of player questions. From discussing the over poweredness of Pirate Warriors, to the grindiness of climbing the ladder each season and more. If you would like to read the recap of it, check it out on Reddit here. Or if you want to watch/hear the Q&A check it out on Twitch.tv.

With over 20 Million players, you are bound to find a cheater or two inside the game. But in the case of Overwatch over 10,000 cheaters were banned this past week for cheating for different things within the game. Most of them were using different times of aimbot, but there is a new type of cheating that has come to the surface and it’s called “Nuking.” Nuking is basically a small DDOS that effects the server that the match is specifically on causing the match to slow down and become extremely laggy. If you want to see nuking in action, check out this Kotaku article.

Creator: Neutro

Details: This is a strange one… the game is designed in a triangle shape where there are 3 teams who are all competing for available vespene collectors, with the goal to keep your opponents off of the vespene while you collect it to win.  Great concept has a ton of different ways to go about defense or attack.  So what does Rock Scissors Paper have to do with it? Well the Roaches you can select are lumped into those 3 categories and each one has a benefit over the other just like in the hand game. Use the various roach types and a strong team strategy and you can walk away the winner, sadly this game does require you have human opponents as there is no AI built into the game.  It may seem immediately overwhelming to figure out but remember it is just rock paper scissors kind of maybe ok not really.

Heroes of the Storm News Banner

Even though there aren’t seasons in the Nexus, the Heroes of the Storm team added a new…. Snowbrawl to the game for this week. If you were lucky enough to check it out you found out quickly that it had a nice spin to the classic MOBA style game where you could select different snow balls on the map to destroy your enemies with either single shots, or some massive AOE damage! But this new brawl brings up the discussion on different seasons that could be brought to the Nexus in order to change the look and feel of the different maps as the year goes on. To find out more about this discussion listen to this week’s episode as these icy nerdz talk about their thoughts of snow covered maps in Heroes!

On December 31st, 1996 the Lord of Terror was first released on Sanctuary. And over the past 20 years, we have made numerous memories within the Cathedral, Tristam and beyond. But Blizzard decided to take it one step further and decided to add Diablo to Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft, Hearthstone, Overwatch and World of Warcraft. Each game is getting a different type of event in order to showcase some of the awesome aspects of Diablo in their own way. If you want to see the list of what’s coming, check out this article over at Diablo Fans!

Overwatch News Banner

With most of Blizzard on break for the holiday’s, there wasn’t any direct news available about Overwatch this week, but the nerdz took this time to talk about what we could see, and what they would like to see coming in 2017 for the game. Epic already makes the call out of Game of the Year again… even though that’s not possible! Hear the whole discussion about better testing by players, to new maps, to wonderful make believe heroes on this weeks episode.

World of Warcraft News Banner

This week we discussion the following topics about World of Warcraft:

1.) World of Warcraft is being added to the California Computer History Museum. Details.
2.) With 2017 upon us, what could be in store for Azeroth? The nerdz talk about just that this week on Episode 138!

Each week we pick a game from the endless library of the Blizzard Arcade to test them out and help the listeners find some awesome stupidly fun games.

Game: USA v1.12
Type: Control Map
Creator: DarcZaFire

Details: Interesting game, the map is set up to look exactly like the Main part of the USA, the map is broken down by 48 states with 48 supply depots with 1 major objective capture as many as you can and defeat your opponent using your gradually increasing resources from capturing the map around you.  Some strategy is necessary to dominate your opponent and using the continent to your advantage plays a huge role in doing this correctly. Some tips for those who would embark on playing this, the more supply depots you can get into view at 1 time the faster you can churn out marines to take over the map, and it is important to not expand in a way that makes it hard for you to defend your back line.  Overall this game is fast paced and is an excellent smash and grab land rush, the lack of AI makes this game require others to play with but the more you get the harder and more exciting this game becomes.

StarCraft News Banner

After the success of the Nova: Covert Ops Mission packs, the StarCraft 2 team has announced that the next announcer coming to StarCraft will be none other than Nova herself! The community has looked over the voice-lines and has discovered that most of Nova’s voice-lines are hilarious in their own nature due to her lack of real knowledge about the Zerg. If you enjoyed the mission packs, you are in luck because you get this new voice pack for free! So what are you waiting for? Check out the details today!

Also this past week it was announced that the next Co-Op Commander coming to StarCraft will be no other than Stukov the Russian Terran Zerg hybrid! With his interesting units, voice-lines and commands, he is definitely going to be a great addition to the Co-Op scene! If you want to learn more about Stukov and the other Co-Op commanders, check this out!

Heroes of the Storm News Banner

If you want to be special, just like this snow flake, you can be by logging into Heroes of the Storm during the Winter Veil 2016 event! With new portraits, quests, mounts, skins and bundles, there is a lot of new stuff coming to the Nexus this holiday season! And on top of all of that, you can enjoy an additional 25% XP following each game you play! Check out all the amazing new things here!

But with all the excitement sometimes comes sadness. This past week Dustin Browder announced that he will be leaving the Heroes of the Storm team and is going to “take one of those chances to try something new at Blizzard.” We are not sure what that is, but we wish DBro the best with whatever his next adventure may bring! You can read his heartflet good bye here.

Diablo News Banner

After the announcement of the Necromancer DLC at BlizzCon, the Diablo community has been up in arms that there wasn’t a Diablo 4 announcement or at least an expansion. This past week, IGN posted an article about the upcoming Necromancer patch with Matthew Berger where the community took a quote and went on a tinfoil hat ride down the rabbit hole. They are blaming the upcoming DLC for the fact that we didn’t get a Diablo 4 announcement, but after the success of other DLCs in other Blizzard titles and the ongoing content creation by the Diablo team, we have a feeling that Blizzard has something amazing coming for Diablo in the near future. If you want to read the original article, you can find it here. And if you have your tinfoil hat on, you can safely read the community discussions about it!

Overwatch News Banner

This past week Jeff Kaplan from the Overwatch team went to the forums to talk about how not every map in the game needs to have an in-game story-line built around it. Since Overwatch is set on a future installment of earth, it makes sense that not all of the future maps and/or locations require a story since these places already exist. As much as we love new shorts, comics and heroes we should all just be happy that we are getting new maps! You can read the community discussion about it all here.

In typical Overwatch social media fashion, the Overwatch team teases about the upcoming Winter Veil event coming to the game on December 13th. The event doesn’t currently have any leaked information, but we will all know about it when it hits live servers on Tuesday! You can check out the tweet here!

World of Warcraft News Banner

This week’s World of Warcraft discussion topics:

1.) It’s been awhile, but they are back! The discussion of Legacy Servers is back on our Radar… and hopefully Blizzards. Details.
2.) This past week, there was a Legion Q&A that we recap! MMO-Champion recap here.

Blizzard Arcade Coverage Banner

Each week we pick a game from the endless library of the Blizzard Arcade to test them out and help the listeners find some awesome stupidly fun games.

Game:  Ghost Battle Legend V2.4
Type: Arena Survival
Creator: Galdios
Details: This is a fantastic game with a unique concept for how the matches work. You will start off with your ghost and a few talent points to get you started, from there you will have to venture out into a maze of adds and obstacles to collect resources to build yourself up for the arena battle that will take place once the timer runs out.  Do what you can to grab as much as you can because once you enter the arena only 1 character can walk out and they get all the spoils for their effort.  Solid game amazing concept only issue was there is no present AI which means you need to find other people but with a game this great it shouldn’t be a hard task.

Last week we asked a #IceBox Poll on Twitter about esports. We asked, “Should Blizzard separate out esports to have their own time of year like professional sports?” and with an astonishing 53% of the vote said “Yes games should shine!” On this week’s show, we discuss how esports currently compares to professional sports with different seasons, uniforms, and broadcasters. But in order to grasp the whole conversation, you will want to check out this episode. You can also check out our twitter poll here.

Diablo News Banner

In Diablo, hitting Paragon level 1000 seems like a large task and requires a lot of dedication. One member of the community believes that players should receive something special in order to make hitting Paragon 1000 appear to be more amazing! But the community doesn’t like that idea, and they go on to tell the original poster that its not a good idea. On this week’s show, we go on to talk about how receiving something in game should be an accomplishment enough! Read the original post here, and check out the rest of our conversation on this week’s episode!

Overwatch News Banner

Blizzard Arcade Coverage Banner

Each week we pick a game from the endless library of the Blizzard Arcade to test them out and help the listeners find some awesome stupidly fun games.

Game:  Left 2 Die Z modified v2.8
Type: Survival RTS
Creator: Wayniac
Details: This game hosts 11 players, with a sliding scale of difficulty.  If you want to take it on alone you certainly can.  The object of this game is to clear out the area during the Day and bolster your defenses for the long night of attacks, it is important to keep your build focus on defense on harder difficulties as the enemies will begin to increase in wave and difficulty.  To clear the game you must defeat all of the buildings and have an intact base.  Be ready for anything because curve balls will get thrown your way as the game progresses.  Overall this game is fun but if you are looking for that arcade game that strays away from the standard RTS look then this may not be your game.

StarCraft News Banner

The 6th Season of 2016 is about to begin! This will be the first season of the year that will include all the major changes to the game that just came with Patch 3.8. It will also feature some of the most famous maps known to StarCraft II players! It’s an exciting time to be a fan of StarCraft esports. Read about the start of Season 6 here!

But, it also came out this week that Korean StarCraft II players are now having issues with their winnings from tournaments. Due to inventors wanting to spend more money on other games like League of Legends, StarCraft pros in Korea are now having their salary capped at about $60k USD. The problem with this is more than just for players, but also for fans of the sport. With investors leaving, how soon before the crowd starts to follow? On this week’s show, we discuss just that. We both believe that StarCraft esports are in a great spot, but with some minor improvements it could be back on top! If you want to read the whole article, check it out here!

Heroes of the Storm News Banner

With a lot of players returning to Heroes of the Storm to take part in the Nexus Challenge, there is a outpouring from the members of the community wanting a new feature, or maybe an old feature reworked added to the MMR and Ladder within Heroes. For most top tiers of ladder, there is an MMR/Rank decay that happens over time in order to make it so that players have to keep playing all season to keep their rank, but in Heroes of the Storm there is no MMR decay that removes players from the play group. Do you think that Heroes of the Storm should have some type of play requirement for it’s ladder play? You can chime in with community members over on Reddit if you do!

Hearthstone News Banner

In order to help get you in the mood for the holiday’s, the Hearthstone team decided to release a video you can play in the background to get you in the holiday spirit… if you can handle the sounds of the murloc too! Check out this video below:

Overwatch News Banner

The close of another season is upon us! Overwatch Season 2 has come to an end, and Season 3 is just around the corner! But… when we are not sure. The forums as one thing, the in-game says another, and the internet says another! Can’t we just all agree on the same time and place! But there are some changes coming to the way that skill rating works for this new season. You can check out all of the changes  over here!

But, we also got a Overwatch Development update from Jeff this past week. This time he talks about the redesign coming to Symmerta, who will become the first hero in Overwatch that will have two ultimate options. One being her teleporter and one being a shield generator, as well as a rework to the HP of the devices, her lock on beam and her turrets. Jeff goes on to explain how we the player base have been asking for a change and we have helped shape the way the new design works. You can check out the video here!  He also teased about a small new feature that will be coming that allows players to stay with a group of players they enjoy playing with without having to add them to your friends list!

2.) Exorsus (Russian Guild) talks out about the World First Race. (Reddit Post)

3.) Watcher Dev responds with an old article. (Warcraft Post)

Each week we pick a game from the endless library of the Blizzard Arcade to test them out and help the listeners find some awesome stupidly fun games.

Game:  Odyssey Campaign Mission 1
Type: Single Player RTS
Creator: CooperHawkes
Details: You play as Striker (Raynor) and Harsh (Tychus) as you go through the first mission of this series. There will be a total of 14 total missions in this Act. CooperHawkes says that for ACT II and beyond, only time will tell if those missions will actually happen or take place. The mission is straight up an RTS single player campaign mission, very similar to that you would see as part of the StarCraft II campaigns minus the voice acting. It’s got suspense around every corner, and different twists every time you think you are about to win. If this first mission has anything to say about the future missions, these mission packs are going to be a great hit!

Our Weekly Top 5:

Top 5 Saltiest Sombra Comments

5.) I have played her 3 hours now.. And I get an idea how to play her… Not impressed so far…
4.) When to use Sombra? Never
3.) No one really knows how to play her and are just jumping onto her in competitive games, which is really annoying.
2.) Blizzard what the hell were you thinking by putting Sombra in the live servers? Right now is impossible to play Competitive while there’s Sombra.
1.) *You’ll have to listen to Episode 132 to hear #1*

StarCraft News Banner

Don’t forget, the third installment of Nova: Covert Ops is available to play today! If you want to learn more about these mission packs, or want to add them to your collection, check out this article to learn more about them!

StarCraft is an every evolving game, and when it comes to it’s multiplayer, Blizzard is always looking at ways to improve its overall performance. Recently Blizzard announced the upcoming changes that will be coming to StarCraft in the form of a new patch. Patch 3.8 has a laundry list of changing coming to the game, but don’t worry, each faction is getting buffed and nerfed in different area’s where they see fit. But won’t go into all the details here, but if you are interested in all the specific, we’d suggest checking out the official patch notes here!

Heroes of the Storm News Banner

Are you up for the challenge? The Nexus Challenge that is! This time, when you play 15 or 30 matches with friends, you will be rewarded some awesome loot for both Heroes of the Storm, and also for Overwatch. You get an exclusive Genjin skin, sprays, and more inside Overwatch, and inside Heroes you can get Zarya, a special mount and a months work of XP Boost! So grab a friends, or 4, and head straight into the Nexus! There is no better time to be playing Heroes than now! Find out more about everything here!

Hearthstone News Banner

Just when you thought that Hearthstone Brawls couldn’t have gotten any more interesting, or had more amazing rewards, Blizzard decided to release a new Heroic Brawl! This new brawl has the change of winning up to a max of 50 card packs… yes, you read that right, 50 PACKS!!! But there’s a catch, you have to first pay 1,000 gold, or $10 USD in order to play it, as well as win 12 matches without losing within the brawl! As you play, and/or lose, the amount of reward that you get goes down, but even if you are getting 7-8 wins (which we assume is the norm), you will still be walking about with card packs, gold and dust. So if you are a player sitting on a ton of gold, or have an endless supply of USD, jump into this new Heroic Brawl and collect all the cards you can! For more information about this brawl, check out this article by Forbes!

Overwatch News Banner

It wouldn’t be a week within Overwatch without us talking about Sombra! Now that she is live on servers, she is disrupting a ton of players within Competitive Mode! The community may be up in arms, but these Nerdz have a great discsusion about the state of the game, and discuss how new heroes change the landscape.

But, Sombra isn’t the only thing we have to talk about this week, we also discuss that the first Graphic Novel (“First Strike”) for Overwatch was announced that it will be canceled. The reasoning behind it’s cancellation is a solid reason. Basically as the game is changing, so is the story of the game. So by the time this novel would be ready to be released the content would be out of date. This doesn’t mean that it is the last we will hear about this story, but it means this version of it won’t ever see the light of day… similar to Project Titan! To read to announcement of the cancellationhead over to the forums!

World of Warcraft News Banner

This week’s World of Warcraft discussion topics:

1.) This past week, Scott Johnson from the Instance sat down and had a nice conversation with Chris Metzen on his departure from Blizzard. You can find and listen to that conversation here!
2.) Method wins the World First Trial of Valor Race!
3.) Artifcat Power exploits! Details.
4.) Patch 7.1.5 discussion. Details.

Blizzard Arcade Coverage Banner

Each week we pick a game from the endless library of the Blizzard Arcade to test them out and help the listeners find some awesome stupidly fun games.

Game:  The Curse of Tristram: The Prologue v1.31
Type:  RPG
Creator: Egodbout
Details: This game is a direct rebuild of the earlier Diablo series inside of the Blizzard Arcade, straight up masterpiece! Like a complete rebuild of the UI and broken down into smaller pieces to be playable in the arcade! Play all of the original classes and defeat Diablo before he destroys all of sanctuary all for free right here in the Starcade.  Controls seem a bit wonky at first but are easily explained before you start the game and will  help you dive right in. Overall this is a must play if you do choose to play anything in the Starcade because it’s Freaking Diablo!
